Spend the day listening to the community’s poets and dust off your own poetry skills with a free workshop taught by award-winning cowboy poet Doris Daley. The Cowboy Poet Trail Ride and Cowboy Poet train offer unforgettable southwestern views and meals. At night, get your feet moving with Western swing dancing, try some harmonica lessons, or mellow out to an Ian Tyson concert. A Sunday brunch serves up breakfast with a side of gospel music.

With more than 40,000 attendees, this gathering will showcase Belinda Gail, Andy Nelson, Gary McMahan, and 27 more artists. Exclusive concerts will feature Michael Martin Murphy, Sourdough Slim, Ernie Sites, and Ramblin’ Jack Elliot. Educate yourself with poetry workshops with the Western Writers of America, and learn blacksmithing skills and other crafts at the Mountain Man Traders camp. Then, ride down the 113-year-old Heber Valley Railroad and enjoy a hearty bowl of chili along with live entertainment in each car.
