Josh Abbott Band

If anyone out there is lookin for some gooooood baby makin music, this is it! Listen close to the lyrics of "Taste" and you'll instantly understand. Recently their song "Oh, Tonight" ft. Kasey Musgraves has been played on several 'main stream' country stations. But the absolute best song by josh abbott in my complete bias? "she's like texas" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yapf2QvFHfw I hope you can understand my complete love seeing as how i was born and i'll die completely in love with texas. These guys really put on a great show. I got to see them a Big Texas North (Spring, Texas<-- great if you don't mind 18+)
Granger Smith

I've never been to a show that made me laugh, cry, scream, jump up and down like a giddy 5 year old, wonderful. Absolutely wonderfull. Granger really was on my radar when he wrote and released "We Bleed Maroon" written for Texas A&M University in 2007. Recently Granger completed a 100 mile walk for the troops, he'll always have my respect. P.S.... I got a guitar pick.
Cody Johnson Band

the wild fires in texas make their song "pray for rain" play over and over in my mind. Cody is one crazy ball of energy. Ladies, If you're into fiddle players Mr. Jody Dale is a youngin' with amazing talent. This band really has what it takes to go BIG and I pray for them often. Coming out of Huntsville, tx, the song "texas kind of way" is alway on my pick me up music list. I recently found out that even my mom has a lot of their songs on her ipod. I've gotten to see them at multiple venues and they never cease to impress.
Stoney LaRue

they're are no words... listen to his versions of "forever young" and "empty glass". He is one of the few texas country men that loves loves loves his wife and makes sure everyone knows it. Got to see him in Helotes, Texas (Yes, I do travel for shows i absolutely have to see) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T8XgmBm9GF0&feature=related
