What it means to be a Cowboy
Cowboy Golfer — Mon, 2012-01-30 23:41
I've thought about what it means to be a cowboy. 100 years ago it meant a man who could handle a steer and rope. That even applies now. But I think today the title of cowboy reaches out to a more general people. My definition of a cowboy is an honest man. Who is dedicated to what he loves and who he loves. He knows how to treat a lady with respect. He doesn't want to be fancy, he's simple. He'd be happy with a pair of jeans, boots and a cowboy hat in any occasion. A cowboy doesn't even apply to a specific religion. As long as his morals are right and he's a respectful man. There's a lot of a definitions for a cowboy. Some seem to be good. Some seem to be way out in left field. But from the definitions that I've heard and read, this is what I have been able to come up with as the best definition of a true cowboy is. Give me your thoughts on my
definition and maybe we can make it even better!
Sincerely,
Cowboy Golfer
