Lonesome Dove actor shares his thoughts
Desert Goddess — Mon, 2011-06-06 13:05
Lonesome Dove - a show that captured our hearts and satisfied the desire for adventure. This is the story of two Texas Rangers that retire in the quiet town of Lonesome Dove, where they plan to stay put and enjoy their golden years.
When an old friend comes to town and tells them about how much money can be made cattle ranching in Montana, everything changes.
Actor/Director/Writer, DB Sweeney played Dish Bogget in Lonesome Dove during 1989. Sweeney has a great sense of humor and shared some of his experiences on the set.
The funniest moment on the set of Lonesome Dove was when Rick Schroeder shot a rattlesnake with a bow and arrow. They grilled the snake and ate it, but it was, “Not tasty.”
Guess it doesn’t really taste like chicken.
