Every town has a story. Tombstone has a legend.

Writing stories about places in Arizona is incredible. Researching the filming of one of the best movies ever made was an adventure and sincere pleasure. If you’ve been to Tombstone, Arizona, you know how it can transport visitors back to the early days of the Wild West. Tombstone blossomed when it became a thriving mining town, but a town thriving on the rise and fall of the mines can mean disaster. Today the town is focused on tourism and that was a very wise decision for this Wild West community.

Tombstone is known for the famous Earp - Clanton gun battle at the O.K. Corral, on October 26, 1881. The gunfight at the OK Corral became legendary and who can forget the scene from the movie ‘Tombstone,’ released 25 December, 1993.
