Life After Graduation
La_cowgirl21 — Sat, 2011-02-12 18:51
On December 11th, I finally graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University with a degree in Early Childhood Education. This was a great day for me. The whole day I kept saying I cant believe I actually graduated. I loved that my family was able to be there with me to share this day. Then came the "What Now?" feeling. I checked around my area for available teaching positions, finding none.

Graduation Here I come!
La_cowgirl21 — Wed, 2010-08-11 21:30
Today was my orientation into the Student Teaching Program! We met with the Director over the department to learn more about what is expected of us and what we can expect from this semester. We were hit with alot of information along with alot of warnings of what would happen if we did not make it through the semester, which was a bit overwhelming.

Winchester Model 94
La_cowgirl21 — Tue, 2010-08-10 13:29
Two weeks ago I was informed of a gun that my uncle was selling. This gun belonged to my grandfather who passed away in Sept 04. It was a Winchester 30-30. My dad informed me that my uncle was selling it because he wanted a different type of gun for this hunting season. Because I wanted to keep the gun in our family, my boyfriend suggested we go buy it from my uncle that day.

The nerve of people
La_cowgirl21 — Tue, 2010-03-30 15:56
Last Monday I went to the court hearing with my mom for the guy's trial who killed my grandparents in a car accident almost two years ago. I learned that day this guy just has some nerve. Not only did the guy stare at my family continuously throughout the court proceeding, he also walked by us non-stop and had the nerve to stand next to us when he would walk back past.
