I just wanted to get an idea of what everyone's favorite guns from the Old West are. My personal favorite is the Colt 45 Peacemaker but then again, who's isn't? So for the sake of conversation and peaking others interests I'll revoke that particular gun for now and go with the Schofield revolver. Nice and sleek, this gun had very nice stopping power and decent recoil. Not my gun of choice for a quickdraw but still a very nice topic for conversation. I also liked the 8 gauge from way back when however I don't believe these are manufactered any longer. Does anybody have a reason as to why?
