For me shooting is a joy, any gun I can, handgun, rifle, or shotgun. I really enjoy shooting my Browning .22 rifle lever action and my Mini-14. It is a skill that may save my, or others, lives. The best thing I found to shot at, other than food, is a milk jug you had in the freezer a few days.

The second amendment says "A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a FREE STATE, the right of the people to keep and BEAR arms, SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED". If we give up this right we will lose our freedom. The fathers of this great country put this in our Bill of Rights, not for hunting or "sporting" purposes but to protect us from a over powering government.

I have noticed there have been more people making prayer request on here, and that is great. Prayer is the only way to make our request to God. But my question to ya'll is "how does our prayer and God's sovereignty work together?" God's sovereignty means God is in control of all things and knows all things. So if He knows all things do we tell Him anything new?

I know many on here call themselves christians, but what truly makes a christian; where does Salvation come from? Is it ALL of the LORD or not? How you answer that will make a big difference what you believe, and if it is Bible based. I think C.H. Spurgeon said it best;
""Salvation is of the LORD" That is just the epitome

Today young people like me have a mind set of "look out for number 1" You can see this in all areas of life to day. What ever happened to the days when a hand shake sealed a deal, or when you did anything for those in need and the days when men knew how to treat ladies.

Last night the family's I friends with had a presentation by their kid's. There were 7 presentations, and the youngest was 5 and the oldest was 11. They were more thought out than anything I ever saw in a young person, and the reason it was like that is these kids are home schooled. Now I know there is people who disagree with this, but when the parents are committed to it, it can not go wrong.
