For me shooting is a joy, any gun I can, handgun, rifle, or shotgun. I really enjoy shooting my Browning .22 rifle lever action and my Mini-14. It is a skill that may save my, or others, lives. The best thing I found to shot at, other than food, is a milk jug you had in the freezer a few days. But no matter how much or how little you shot you must use common sense, and I think that is the best part of it, you use common sense. Always treat a gun like it loaded, always point it in a safe direction, and keep it clean. A lot of miss firing is because people do not keep their firearms clean. Cleaning them is enjoyable too!
