This darn WV snow just won't go away. I figured after a couple 40 degree days I could at least get to see my grass again, but NO, I still have to wade 2 feet of snow just to get to the woodpile. My pygmy goats here in WV, Milly and Tilly, are belly deep in this stuff, and wantin grass more than I do. GC is back home babysittin critters and tryin to keep everything hummin along in OK. He finally got some decent weather to ride the horses down and work on makin MInk, my walker paint, aka Champaigne Mink and Pearls, a trick horse. I can't wait to go home to see that. He's so great with horses. He picked up our freezer beef, who I had affectionately referred to as T-Bone. It's probably better I wasn't there for her going away party, it wouldn't have been pretty. He's promising me some steaks shipped on dry ice. I can't wait, they ought to be certified choice beef after what we fed her. I am a little worried about the housework though. I know he manages somehow, but I've learned that cowboys have their own way of doin household chores, and it's known as "knockin the rough off".

Ranch lesson #3 - Don''t ask a cowboy if he's doin the housework while your away unless you really want to know. Apparently I can now write my name on refrigerator dust, and our newest pets are dustbunnies.
