How many of us have come across an old bridge on our journey in life and saw all of the broken and open areas and wondered if it would be safe enough to cross, if we could just pick our way through the bad areas?

It has been a couple of months since I last posted. My wife and I were out dancing and I was taken down by a heart attack. The Good Lord was on my side and we were rushed to Mayo Clinic. They and the folks from Rural Metro Medical Transport did a great job.

Wind, you may spend half your time thanking the good Lord for it and the other half of your time cussing it. Without the Windmill, it is a question of if the West ever would have been won. Water is the one thing that needed to be harnessed in order for the people, stock and crops to survive.

Upside Down
Sometimes life spins and kicks and bucks and we find ourselves upside down to the world, the good thing as just like this rider, most of the time after the ride has knocked us to the ground and sometimes given us a kink in the neck, as Americans, we still need to get up and knock the dust off of ourselves.
