“He was an American for all Americans,” stated former US President Theodore Roosevelt in an appropriate homage upon the passing of William Frederick Cody (1846-1917), more popularly known as “Buffalo Bill.”
As a frontier scout, pony express rider, urban developer, master showman and international ambassador, Buffalo Bill has earned his iconic place in world history, and is forever enshrined as one of America’s favorite sons and original super heroes. His legacy contribution of increasing the popularity of our nation’s Wild West heritage here and abroad remains ever timeless, even now, nearly 100 years later.
To honor his enduring legacy and in salute of the memories his all-star lineup of Wild West Show personages, American Cowboy magazine and the following participating marketing partners proudly present American Cowboy’s current Collector’s Edition, “Buffalo Bill: Celebrating His Life and Legend” releasing on nationwide December 2, 2012 (issue can be purchased at www.horsebooksetc.com).
