The debate on who builds the best truck has long been heavily disused which much opinion. Often influenced perhaps by what your Daddy drove. Maybe through Peer pressure, or maybe just because you heard your brand of truck in a song makes you all there more want to jump out of the open road and head down that highway.
The truck has long replace the horse drawn wagon though with fuel prices moving upwards again, the horses may make a come back. However, Auto makers continue to do much about making Trucks functional, reliable and attractive. Stream line body styles place on a heavy duty frame. Power houses delivering increase speeds and horse power, interior comforts with full front bucket leather seats, with options of extended, crew or super crew cab designs. Other options are 4x4 off road packages, long beds, or dually rear ends.

NISSAN...for many years produced the Frontier. As a compact truck, its a good little truck. However, over the years, they have extended the cab making for more room and comfort. Although several years ago, they introduce the TITAN which comes in a crew cab. The TITAN offers strong towing with the 317 Horse Power 5.6 liter engine. Up to 9,400 lbs towing capacity
TOYOTA...Known for compact trucks introduce the larger Tundra several years ago. The Tundra was Motor Trend Truck of the Year and offers a comfortable ride in the Double Cab with full size bed. The Crew Max offers more room for rear passengers but looses bed size capacity. Although, Toyota had plan to introduce a dually model by 2010, this was cut from their program competing against their biggest rival, FORD MOTOR COMPANY. The Tundra is surely a favorite among many Cowboys. I have heard many non Ford owners complain about the former 6.0 Power Stroke Engine, However, I have seen Ford owners who have been very pleased with the older 7.3 Liter motor and the current 6.7 Power Stroke. Additionally, I have yet seen anyone complain about their Cummings engine which was purchased by FORD but continues to be under contract with Dodge Trucks through 2011.
So, what is your favorite truck? Who makes the best truck and why?
