This is my first post :)
Several years ago I bought a leather Henschel hat. I thought it was a cowboy hat, but after some investigation it seems that this is an outback hat. (not sure if that makes a difference or not)
Anyway, I wore the hat a time or two and then pretty much forgot about it. Not sure what was wrong with me. LOL. Anyway, I dug the hat out of the closet today, I have fully decided that I do not care what anyone thinks, I am going to wear my hat.
The only problem is that the hat was "crushed" over the years. I think I ruined it.
Can my hat be saved? The hat still wears fine but it has some creases and sags. Will wearing the hat fix it? Also, there is some signs of the leather drying out, should I use saddle soap?
