I think we need to bring more ideas for this purpose. Involvement of young people can be handy in this regard. I am happy to find a good post here. philadelphia slip and fall lawyers

The subject is difficult to discuss due to all the different cuts of beef available. I like 3 particular cuts of beef but only 2 are steaks. The best Fillet I ever had was at McCalls Supper Club outside Green Bay, WI. The best Rib Eye was at Jess & Jim's Steak House on the South Side of Kansas City. And, the best Prime Rib (not a steak but a roast) I ever had was at Lowry's Restaurant in San Francisco. Now, this goes back to 1970, so I don't know if McCalls and Lowry's are still open or even there. Jess and Jim's is still on the South Side of Kansas City, in an area called Martin City. They are one of those old time family owned restaurants that lets you choose your piece of beef before they cook it (medium Rare, of course).
I will say that I had a magnificant Chateau Briand for 2, for 1 (me) at the International Restaurant in Saigon back in 1967, but that's another story...........

I've done in my life travlin tons, I love a good steak. Las Chris is really hard to beat. They are now everywhere, but I believe they started in Washington...

Here in this little town of Taylor Az (pop. 2500) theres a resturant called Trappers. Been here almots as long as the town. They have by far the best steaks I've ever eaten. and they put out a chicken fry that beat anything I've ever found in any part of Texas. They are also noted for their home made pies.

I've done a ton of travlin in my life and I love a good steak. Ruths Cris is real hard to beat. They are all over the place nowadays but I believe they started out up in Washington. Spent a lot of time in Florida too and if you're ever down there you gotta go to Charlies in Orlando and don't miss Bern's Steakhouse over in Tampa. Dang thats good eatin. I was stationed in Montgomery Alabama for near 5 years and I'd go over to Atlanta to watch the Braves play. That usually would end up with a visit to Bone's for a steak and I can't think eatin a much better one. Over in Ralrigh, NC it's gotta be the Angus Barn. You know though, whenever you pull up in front of a really good steak, at that time, with that first bite, it's the best one you ever ate.

Probably the best I've had in a while at Flemings in Houston,TX.
Has anyone been to Big Texan Steak Ranch in Amarillo,TX?
It's the home of the 72oz free steak. I watched a show about it on Food Network, telling how if you eat the steak and the sides it's free. The folks on the show didn't finish everything, but all commented on how great the steak tasted. I wanna go there soon.
Howdy!
Galatians 2:20
20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live ; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me

In my honest opinion the BEST steaks in the west can be found at Cellars.
There are two locations, one in Park City, Utah in the Club Lespri and in Jackson, Wyoming at the White Buffalo club.
I doubt that a more succulent steak can be found anywhere. All of their beef is 100% Prime. I prefer the Ribeye which quite literally melts in your mouth.
if you have the chance to taste one of their steaks, all other will pale by comparison.

Ruby River is usually where I think first, but that Texas roadhouse place was better than I thought it would be. Sharkey's in gardnerville was known "world famous prime rib" back when sharkey owned it, and used his own cattle. since it sold, it just aint the same.
"I've always been crazy, but it keeps me from goin insane!"
just visited the Ore house in Steamboat springs and had an amazing meal.
Ruth Chris. I hear that right before removing them from the grill, they put butter on them to melt into the juices. And a shitload of seasoning, no doubt!
Getting to travel a lot, I have many steak encounters. My problem is not writitng down the where, when, why, who and what?
Does anyone out there know the name of the Steak House in Kirkland, Arizona? Perhaps if I google it? But if you know Kirlkland (25 miles from Prescot), I doubt if they are on the web. If you blink passing through, you have missed it.
This steakhouse is in the original stage stop building and a pleasure to visit. It was more than 4 years ago when I stopped and spent the night. The fireplace for cooking is in the seating area and you can watch your steak cook. The best meat and best down home feeling of any resturant I have ever been to. There also is a dance floor and the band was all country/western. I need to go back, if it is still there.
I think that is just "Kirkland Steak House," but I am not sure. I have eaten there many times over the past 4 or 5 years. Great place, great steaks, and good, cold beer.
kansas city steaks are great my mom gets them from qvc all the time, and if you like ribs you should try corky's ribs they are the best hands down

if your talking about the restaurant Corky's, yeah they have some good food there! Ate at one in Pigeon Forge, TN about a year ago or so. Didn't know there was one in New Orleans. Guess I just don't go out that way much.

I'm not in the west but around here the best place to get a steak is one of 2 places. 1 is at dutch's in French Settlement La and another is in Springfield, La at Charlies Seafood.

Maddox Ranch House in Perry, Utah. I almost cry when I take that first bite of a 16 oz. Prime Rib! My wife gets grossed out because I even eat the fat because I can't get enough of the juicy meat!
I can't really claim a ma and pa type location as a favorite, but around here, my favorite steaks are cooked at the Texas Roadhouse chain. But I'm always happy to try others!
I am sure that Perini's in Buffalo Gap, TX was an oversight. Tom Perini has developed a great steak rub that is sinful and the rib-eyes are the best I have ever eaten.
Here in Kansas City we have a lot of good Barbecue joints, but we also have a great steakhouse in the Hereford House.
