Hi there, thanks i saw the header and thought...ok is this about cowboys looking for women like us? lol. I've been single for a few years too and am in the same pickle as you are...but I'm waiting for God's best for me and NO longer settling. I can tell you from experience that unfortunately not all dating sites work and some men lie about their faith...incredible but oh well. I'm not desperate but if a wonderful man is out there for me, then that's great. I'm a true country girl and love horses. I was engaged to a cowboy last year but he went nuts on me a week after proposing! That was so bizarre and sad, but I've seen quite a few cowboys in my wine country/sacramento area who have "issues" and I really wonder why that is. I hate drama and I am simple, want simple things...I'm laid back too, and love humor. I don't want to be someone's psychologist. LOL. I wondered if it was me, but in talking with friends---it's not me. lol.
I have faith that only God knows what is the best thing for me, and what plans He has for me. If I'm to remain single and help Him in other ways, be it with horses or other activities, then I will be happy too.

Love this idea, I am too a woman of faith and would love to chat with other cowgirls about faith, friends and families.

I've been single for a long time. I'm not sure if i'm what you'd call "picky" or anything. There are just certain standards that my family has given me. I don't require a fancy car, prestigious job, or a lot of money. I ask that the men i do date have a job, are willing to work, are kind and polite, aren't stingy with a smile and above all else, share in my faith. Its hard, especially in my age group to find a man willing to grow with me in my relationship with God. Do all woman share this hardship?

I know that in any age group these days it's hard to find a good man period. I'm to the point now that if I can get 4 of the 5 things on the list I would be happy!
Good Luck Ladies sounds like you have yourself in pickle. I would try online dating maybe some christian related sites. Although it might seem hard the us is 80% christian so good luck in your search.
