Through some way I'm realated to the James even though we havn't found out how yet, it is really cool that you found that. When my dad and uncle were little they found some money in the root cellar of my grandma's house that was said to have come from the Kasey-Adair train robbery! It's cool what you can find in history!!!

My grandmother was a cousin of Jesse and Frank James. The way we learned of this, we were having a family reunion when I was about eight or nine years old. Grandmother was quite old then, and sat reminiscing with her sister. They were comparing memories of Missouri. They were disputing an event at a covered dish supper at a community church. Grandmother's sister said, "Oh, pshaw, Mary Jame! Don't you remember that was the day Jesse and Frank and the boys came to the supper and about ruined it?"

Of course, my Dad's ears perked up and he questioned his Aunt, who said, "Why certainly we're cousins. I can't imagine why your mother is so ashamed of it!"

But grandmother was ashamed of it and never ever admitted it.

Man thats great, family history, guns, and famous folks all rolled into one. I wish I had a similar story to share, but ya got me beat.
