I go to reno and theres 3. first there was a sportsmans warehouse, which is still great. Then cabelas which was cool for the used guns and more fishin stuff. Now theres a scheels, that place is HUGE with all the new purties to drool on. They compete pretty closely with cabelas, and I still often go to the "little" warehouse. Its a shame most all the little guys have folded up because of em though.

We have both Dicks Sporting Goods, and a Gander Mount. It seem that Gander Mount. is geared more toward the hunters and fisherman, than Dicks.

we have a little local operation called Green Top. Been there most of my life.

recently had both a bass Pro and a Cabellas open up near by.

I was in all three over the holidays.

cabellas was empty.

Bass Pro had some shoppers

Green top was hopping. good Deals, Good service, good reputation.

Here in Kansas City, we have a Cabela's and a Bass Pro. I mainly buy my fishing gear at Cabela's (here they are cheaper). I go to Bass Pro if they have a sale. Cabela's has more used guns to look at, But I buy from both. Here the only local stores is the gun shops, and I rather buy stuff from them. But no real local sporting goods store.
