Crawfordville FL, Updated 5/0/2011
Trey Young, “The American Horseman,” will be taking his equestrian training style on the road. Young's new television show on HRTV will be traveling from the family’s 3-Y Ranch in Crawfordville Florida across the mid-west exhibiting a “natural horsemanship” style that encourages and fosters success for both the rider and the horse. The first in a series of Young’s valuable lessons will debut on HRTV Dish Network 404 at 10:30 p.m. ET/7:30 p.m. PT. Shows highlighting Young’s expertise will continue on successive Tuesday’s throughout the year.
The HRTV series will follow Trey as he travels througout the country, taking his natural horsemanship style of training out of the ring and into real world situations, demonstrating a horse’s versatile applications while on the road.
The first stop for Trey Young, “The American Horseman” tour takes place in Weatherford, TX where Young will visit the Flying V Ranch with Thomas Saunders. Young will showcase six of the Flying V Ranch horses that will be going to the Legends of Ranching Horse Sale April 30, 2011 at Colorado State University.
Trey Young, “The American Horseman” tour will be at the Seven X Ranch with Ryan Moats featuring a young horse just getting started in roping. The show will also feature horsemanship with Ryan’s students, to help them with Team Roping.
The next stop on the tour in Texas for Young will be Mineral Wells, TX, the home of Diamond Double C Ranch, and acclaimed horseman, Chris Cox. Here they will feature two young horses getting them started working cattle.
Then it's off to Granbury, TX with Clay Logan, AQHA World Champion Team Roper, showcasing some of AQHA’s best Team Roping horses.
Moving onward, Fort Collins, CO will be the next stop, where Young will visit the CSU Legends of Ranching Sale showcasing some of the best ranch horses and ranches in the country.
