I believe in a set of principles that are completely outdated, I reckon that oughta be my fault, but I can't find flaw in that. I don't trust easy, it's a very hard process for me, and I believe in what you are and what you can show, not what people think you are or what they say you should know.

If you believe in something, live by it when it's good and when it's not so convenient, than you are that. But these days it matters little what you do and how you actually live, it matters what others say, the almighty gossip, intrigue, people hung up on artificial, shallow so-called values and priorities.

It's unfair, but plenty out there love to live that way and that's all they know. I guess I'm one of those left behind, but if you don't play their game you find yourself isolated, hurt, and mistreated. You can try, but it's a huge wall of prejudice built by those for whom prejudice is a way of life. I believe in showing who you are, every day,not just words. But these days it's better to have connections and the such who speak about you, even if it's just a bunch of chicken sh...t, because facts and reality are things nobody seems to be interested, it's not chick enough I would venture.

So, all things considered, I still love animals, dogs in particular, even more than I did a year ago when I wrote this. Experience makes you wiser, it hurts like a mother, but the lesson is clear. I am not going to compromise and I will not play the game, that leaves me alone and left behind, but at least I can say I remained true to myself, and after losing most in my life to that very principle, I can say today that I wouldn't have it any other way.

I was talking about finding people you can really trust and bond with.

We all agree, I suppose, we all need space and sometimes some solitude. But when the time comes, and it will sooner or later, and you need a person you can trust, when you need to reach out, it's very difficult to do so nowadays, at least for me.

I think people take friends for granted, or don't realize how important it is to have at least one good friend, a person you can trust. I think that's specially true today when we live in a fast-paced world and we only got time to say hi or thanks and never stop to think about it.

I suppose I too like many others enjoyed taking the ride out on horseback. There is a feeling of serenity being in the wilderness. Although, it has also been fun to take others out to ride with me, sharing that serenity along with friendships.

Mans life was not to be just his horse, his dog and alone. However, many cowboys choose this life. Likely because they didn't have anyone. Many more gave up being Cowboys once someone came along into their lives as they settled down taking other jobs.

However, I'm a people person and I do know some who are very much not the people person and love being alone....and that is all in good if they're not lonely......

Well, I wasn't asking for anything but a prayer won't hurt I suppose.

Thing is, there are times when you do need to reach out, and gets hard when you ain't got nobody. That's the point I think, we all should learn to treasure friendship and treat it with the respect it deserves, otherwise, and I say this from experience, God knows what can happen when we find ourselves blind and in a hole.

You know this state well, better than me for sure, and I find most people here kinda difficult to get along with. Nice scenery though.
