Meet Doc
I did a blog on Doc, but I haven't introduced him to the group. Meet Doc. He's 4 this year, sorrel with a flaxen mane & tail. Doc's a friendly sort, 15.1 hh, and friendly towards people. He has already informed all the other mules that he's top mule in the South pasture. I'm hoping fur won't fly when he and Willie meet. Willie stays in the North pasture. My equines that are trained and don't need special care or training stay in the North Pasture. I keep the ones in the South pasture that need special care or training, or if I need to keep an eye on them until they are easily catchable and predictable.
I've realized that I'm over equinized, so I'm going to be selling all my horses, and some mules and donks. I'm going to keep my core of driving and riding mules & donks. For donks that means Jacque, Braying Mantis, and Tex. In Mules that's Willie, Doc, and one or two of the yearlings. That crew will keep me busy for a while. Check out my blogs for a photo of Doc.
