Check out my latest blog, 'Here We Go Again'... I just made a deal to buy 3 more mules. 2 white mules, a John and a Molly, and a Sorrel Molly with white stockings on all four legs. I'll be picking them up later this week. All 3 are yearling mules, born last summer. I'll be posting some electric photos after I get them home. My wife Jacki wants to call the sorrel molly, Sadie. I decided to call the white ones, Hansel & Gretel. I'm going to have my hands full with training this year. I'll have 5 yearling mules and 1 yearling donk to get started. That's equine disease, for you. It multiplies exponentially.....

Johns & Mollies
Kansas Jack — Fri, 2011-04-08 12:42Sooo, when I went to pick up my trio of Mules, I checked the plumbing. The white Mules are Mollies, and the sorrel Mule with the Stockings is a John. My wife wanted to name one of them Sadie, so I named the other Ruth, in memory of Festus Hagen's Mule on Gunsmoke. Since the John is so fancy, I decided to name him John Hancock, in memory of the fancy signature at the top of our Declaration of Independence. I think the pair of white Mollies would make a gorgeous team to pull a Chuck Wagon. You never want to get too far from your food, you know..... John should grow up to be a handsome saddle Mule. So, at this time I have 6 yearlings, 5 Mules and 1 Donk. My hands will be full with training duties for the next couple of years..
