See the best 90 cowboys and cowgirls in the region compete for the championship and a berth at the National Circuit Finals Rodeo! Plus, see Miss North Dakota Rodeo pageant, mutton bustin’, and the Badlands Cowboy Christmas Expo and Trade Show! Proceeds from the rodeo go to benefit the Triangle Y Camp on Lake Sacakawea. Dodge City’s rodeo is among the top rodeo events in the country and it attracts saddle-sore cowboys from all over. The timing of the Dodge City event brings the top competitors vying for points to qualify for the National Finals Rodeo. The rodeo ticket office sells you the whole seat, but you really only need the edge of it. This year’s Rodeo begins on August 1, 2012 with the finals held on Sunday, August 5.
