Hey, ya'll. This is HUGE! The U.S. Senate in late June approved a resolution cosponsored by Senator Jeff Bingaman to honor the American Cowboy. The resolution, which declares July 24, 2010 as "National Day of the American Cowboy," will give the state an opportunity to recognize the enduring legacy of Western culture.
The event will begin at 6:30pm and will focus on celebrating cowboys both young and old. All cowboys are invited to join PPHM for an evening of conversations and entertainment celebrating what it means to be a working American Cowboy. Enjoy cowboy poetry, music and stories presented by the Southwest Cowboy Poets Association.
