Pendleton Round-Up

Pendleton, Ore.

800-457-6336, pendletonroundup.com

Four-time NFR bareback champ Butch Knowles has this to say about this rodeo: “It’s just like stepping back in time when you compete here. Not much has changed in 100 years at the Round-Up. The timed events are really unique with big, long scores out on the grass. There’s no room for the faint of heart. You’ve got to cowboy up to win something here.” Make sure to visit Hamley & Co., a saddle shop full of rich history and tempting tack.

“The Round-Up has it all, traditional parades, Native American culture and the best rodeo cowboys doing their thing in a one-of-akind arena. Gotta go.” —Bob
